Learning to reconnect to your inner wisdom by mindful eating will help to create a new relationship with food and your body. Dr. Magdalena Schauenberg We sometimes expect outside rules to solve our issues with food. But we do not consider that our issues with food were initially created by these outside rules. More of these outside rules, more forbidden foods, stricter dieting is making the problem worse and leads to guilt, self-doubt, shame and overeating. Loosening the rules might be scary, but mindful eating can help you to discover your innocent relationship with food and your body after years or decades of dieting. When we create a problem with one strategy (diet) we won’t solve it with even more of the same strategy. The topic of this trip „A journey to yourself“ was chosen by us on purpose. Often we are so stuck in our daily life routines of behaviors, thoughts, and emotions. Everything always seems to happen in the same way, even if we desire a different outcome. Experiencing new impressions, getting to know different people and cultures, being inspired and willing to approach new adventures is the best path welcome positivity in our lives. The same habits and thoughts will create the same outcome, again and again. Changing the point of view is the secret to create new outcomes. 🤫 Things we don’t know are just not familiar, which might feel awkward. But to neglect them because of the unfamiliarity means to miss great chances for growth and experiences. Curiosity and openness on the other hand can offer wonderful new impressions. This is the reason why we enjoyed this years journey with you so much. You are open, joyous. You listened to us, and responded to whatever we had planned for you. You experienced intense emotions, laughed together and approached new situations with an open mind. That was a wonderful experience for us and hopefully for you too. We deeply wish that you can take home these impressions. A good way to start desired changes are tiny habits in your daily life: meditation (just a couple of minutes every day), observing your breath, or mindful eating. Use some of the exercises you learned to upgrade your brain 🧠 , perception and movements, every day. Start to look deeper into one of the topics which is interesting to you. The tiny details and bright colors are impressive, every time I enter a temple. With our German Kensho Travel Group we visited a Hindu Temple first and had the chance to see a buddhist temple after. The Hindu Temple was under construction for years so I never had the chance to see it before from inside. But it was worth the wait. Breathtaking. There were luckily plenty of occasions to make pictures from all the beautiful animals. One elephant was very curious and hoping for some fruits. We made it to keep all our belongings, even if he wanted to take one of the backpacks 😂. We were impressed by peacocks, coyotes, sea hawks, bee eaters, water buffaloes and many more! What an awesome day. 🇩🇪 ➡️Heute stand bei unserer Kensho Reise eine Safari auf dem Plan. Udawallawe National Park. Die Busfahrt war lang, hat sich aber echt gelohnt. Im Jeep mit je 5-6 Personen ging es dann durch die Wildnis. Die Tiere hatten sich zum Glück auch nicht versteckt und boten reichlich Gelegenheit zum Schauen und Fotografieren. Von Elefanten 🐘 (mit Babies), Kojoten, Eidechsen 🦎, Seeadlern 🦅, Rehen über diverse Papageien 🦜 und Pfaue bis hin zu Wasserbüffel 🐃 war alles dabei.
