My name is Tatjana and I am 28 years old.
I would like to tell you a little bit about my weight loss coaching journey with Dr. Magdalena Schauenberg and how it transformed not only my body but my life as a whole.
Changing my relationship with food
Dr. Schauenberg first helped me to understand my own relationship with food and how my mind, feelings, and habits contribute to the food choices I made every day. She taught me the different stages of “hunger” and how to read signs of actually needing food, wanting food due to surroundings or feelings and how to listen to my own body and its signals.
I used to notoriously not eat all day and then overeat uncontrollably. Dr. Schauenberg then took the time to explain to me different stages and signs of “being full” and how to take charge and once again understand and listen to my body’s needs. Understanding and trusting my body’s signs has helped me develop a whole new relationship towards meals and take charge of cravings without having the unpleasant thought of “I’m on a diet” hovering in my mind, telling me I can not eat certain things.
Cravings & Self-Talk
Not being restricted has taken out my constant thinking about all the things I used to crave. In addition to listening to my body, she has also made me aware of my own mind and self-talk. Always telling myself that I wasn’t good enough, that I’m worthless and that it didn’t matter what I ate because I am already overweight anyway had poisoned my mind and had a much bigger impact on my life than I could have ever imagined. It led me to make unhealthy meal choices daily and dragged my confidence and happiness in my overall self down with it.
It has changed me as a person
Once we identified this I was able to change the way I thought about myself. Due to the change of eating habits, self-talk and all the new positivity I have found I now have so much more energy, I approach things with a positive state of mind and I am feeling so much more comfortable with myself that I can say: It has changed me as a person.
I believe in myself again, I am not scared of everyday life situations anymore, food has become my friend and not my enemy and I have Dr. Schauenberg’s coaching to thank for all of it.
Weight Loss Coaching is not a diet
Her weight loss coaching is not another restricted diet, it’s not another form of fast weight loss with the just as fast yo-yo effect.
It changed my whole life, my eating habits, my happiness and gave me the confidence and strengths to make choices I was always “dreaming” of but was too afraid to take due to the demons I had bottled up in my mind.
I am losing weight without the constant fear of failing a diet program. Dr. Magdalena Schauenberg is always there for me, no matter how small a hurdle or question may be and has helped me more than I ever thought possible.
My life is thriving, my mind and body are showing me how grateful they are for the healthy food choices I am making and quite simply I have learned to love life and myself again.
This “lifestyle change” is letting me live every day to the fullest again, she has helped me find a routine that has also helped me with my night time rest letting me wake up refreshed and ready for the day instead of dreading to get out of bed every morning and still feeling exhausted.
It Changed the Quality of my Life
With her coaching the whole quality of my life has changed and has given me a new purpose and sense of belonging. I still have a long journey ahead of me but I can not wait to see what life has in store and with her continuous help, guidance, and support I know I can face it all and become the best person I can be, body and mind.
